Tim Keller on evangelism in contemporary society
As full-time ministry workers we live in the constant tension of evangelism.
We have concepts like initiative evangelism and relational evangelism. Which one is correct? I agree with a quote found in this article: “the best kind of evangelism is the kind you do.”
I found the below video from Timothy Keller to be extremely practical and while he’s not talking about campus ministry specifically, the principles he discusses are still relevant and true.
“Most people think, I need to find a way to get the whole gospel out in one conversation or get into a debate about Creation and Evolution…That’s not the way to go. Be simple.”
