Having grown up on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, Alex’s love of words and their power to tell stories has had many years to grow deep roots. After earning a degree in Creative Writing and Medieval Literature, Alex began working primarily as a writer for the Center for Mission Mobilization. He has a passion for connecting people to God’s heart through storytelling and journalism. “Gathering stories from the field, almost like a documentary, really drives home the fact that these are real people, real souls that we’re dealing with” he says “You can listen to statistics all day long, but when you meet the people that make them, it’s a whole different story.” Quality coffee, dogs, and the outdoors are some of his favorite things.
