Wayne Simien

Campus Director, Called to Greatness, Lawrence, KS

Wayne is involved in campus ministry because he was reached with the gospel while attending KU in 2003. Originally from Leavenworth, KS, he came to KU to play basketball. As a student he served as a campus ministry leader, graduated with a degree in sociology, and was an All-American athlete. Wayne and his wife have been serving as campus ministers for 10 years. He is currently the Campus Development Director for Called to Greatness (CTG) at the University of Kansas. He oversees and executes evangelism, discipleship, and mission strategies for students, staff and partners. He serves students from a variety of backgrounds, including undergrads, post grads, athletes, and international students. Wayne and his wife have been married fourteen years and have five kids. In his free time he enjoys hiking, hunting, and fishing.
