FriendSpeak Developer, Let’s Start Talking

Tyler has been in ministry since 1999, including five years with the AIM (Adventures In Missions) program, and fourteen in Campus Ministry. He is currently on staff with a nonprofit called Let’s Start Talking, which specializes in recruiting and training teams of all ages to go on summer mission trips overseas where they partner with churches and missionaries by providing free English conversations and tutoring using the Bible. LST also trains churches and campus ministries in the United States to launch FriendSpeak programs which use the same approach in order to serve the refugees and international students in our own backyard. Tyler is a member of the Campus for Christ board which plans an annual conference (CampusForChrist.net). He's been a speaker at events held at Cascade College, Southern Methodist University, Lipscomb University, Harding University, Pepperdine University, and Texas Tech University. For fun, he enjoys dating his wife and playing with his kids; reading and writing; playing racquetball, volleyball and disc golf; watching good movies and listening to good music; going to classic car shows and browsing antique shops; and exploring man’s cities and God’s creation around the world. He is also the author of the award-winning book, "Question Everything: A fresh way to read the best-selling book of all time." Connect with him on Twitter at @BTylerEllis.
